Michael D. Morrison, CPA
Michael is a Montana native raised in the heritage of Montana agriculture. Don’t let the tie fool you! He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, and you will seldom find him dressed in a suit. In fact, he is as much at home turning a wrench on his Harley, pounding nails for a home remodel project, or working in the yard, as he is at the office. With experience in public and private accounting, management positions, and investment advisory positions (including compliance, training, and sales), Michael has obtained a vast range of knowledge in many facets of business. Thanks to this experience, he can deliver both business theories as well as assist with their technical application.
Michael spent 7 years as an adjunct accounting professor with Montana State University-Billings. He has led various seminars and workshops on budgeting, cash flow, choice of entity, tax planning, accounting fundamentals, and QuickBooks. Teaching involves listening to questions and being responsive to students. It also requires connecting theories to practice and having the confidence to react to an ever-changing environment in order to nurture and develop talents. In his own words, Michael notes, “Teaching has made me be a better business advisor.” As a business advisor, Michael works to develop talent and expand the knowledge of business owners so they can not only build their business, but also realize the independence, control and rewards associated with choosing self-employment.

Angie Solland, CPA
Angie grew up on a farm, in a small, rural community in northern Minnesota. She and her six older brothers and sisters spent their days bailing and stacking hay, picking rocks from the field (by hand), cleaning livestock barns, all of which helped define her tenacious character and work ethic. When she wasn’t busy with farm chores, you could find Angie swimming in the abundant Minnesota lakes, hunting, ice-fishing, snowmobiling, and horseback riding.
Entering the work-force before she even graduated high school, Angie gained experience in a wide variety of industries, including food service, healthcare, construction, and real estate. Before moving to Billings in 2011, Angie specialized in closing residential real estate transactions in the metro areas of Minneapolis, MN, and Fargo, ND.
While working full-time and raising a family, Angie finished her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, graduating with honors; she is a licensed CPA in Montana. Angie prepares tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals as well as financial statements for small businesses. She also provides bookkeeping and payroll services, QuickBooks training, and business advisory services. Angie and her husband Shawn understand the trials and tribulations of being self-employed as they own and operate Double S Contracting, Inc., which provides excavating and related services.
